Care Instructions

Untreated brass gradually darkens over time when exposed to air, developing a natural patina that many people appreciate. However, fingerprints, candle wax and other greases or corrosive substances can eventually cause stains that are difficult to polish away, especially if the item is kept in a humid environment.

Maintain the surface by gently rubbing it with a soft cloth. For more thorough cleaning, choose a mild polish designed for brass, free from abrasive particles. Since the surface scratches easily, avoid brushes, steel wool and coarse polishing cloths or sponges. Also avoid prolonged contact with oxidising substances, as this can cause permanent etching damage. Always wipe the surface with a dry, soft cloth, as any remaining moisture may alter its appearance.
